We are looking for volunteers to help healthcare professionals and researchers learn how to involve people living with lung diseases in their work.
ELF has encouraged patient and public involvement in the ERS and in lung disease in general. From patient advisory groups to patient speakers at the ERS Congress, we are always looking for ways that people researching and treating lung disease can work with people affected by those diseases.
The Chair of the ELF Professional Advisory Committee, Dr Georgia Hardevella, would like to make sure that ERS members can have access to ELF resources to help them to understand how they can engage patients in their projects.
Therefore, ELF is looking for several patients to be part of a group that will look at all the ELF tools and resources and identify where there are gaps, and to help write a statement and bring together an educational course on the topic. Most of the work will be done remotely by phone and email.
If you have worked together with ELF in the past and would like to get involved or find out more, please contact Jeanette by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Learn about the factors that can cause lung disease and the ways to reduce your contact with them.
