The European Lung Foundation and the European Respiratory Society have launched the concise version of the European Lung White Book.
The new publication, entitled ‘Lung Health in Europe: Facts and Figures’ is being launched at the European Voice Press Club in Brussels, and is freely available on the ELF website. It can be used by policymakers, politicians, the media and the public to help promote lung health.
The publication uses the latest data from the World Health Organization and European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, and input from experts across Europe. The book covers risk factors, the major diseases, the growth of patient support organisations, and includes a series of policy recommendations to ensure a better future for respiratory health.
You can download a full copy of the book here, or visit each disease page for disease-specific information.
