Thomas Ruddy, member of the ELF/EMBARC bronchiectasis patient advisory group, has written a summary of the first World Bronchiectasis Conference (Hannover, July 2016).
The first World Bronchiectasis Conference took place in Hannover in July 2016 and two members of the ELF/EMBARC bronchiectasis patient advisory group were speakers at both opening and closing sessions of the conference where they gave their perspectives on the conference as well as examples from their own experiences.

The second Bronchiectasis Conference will take place 6-7 July 2017 in Milan, Italy and planning is ongoing for the next in the USA in 2018.
