6 patients from across Europe joined ELF in Brussels this month for a focus group discussing the European Patient Ambassador Programme (EPAP).
The event is one of a number of discussions taking place to help review the programme before an official launch next year.
The meeting was positive, with each person bringing their valuable experience to the discussion.
Kjled Hansen, from Denmark, commented on the focus group: “I was enthusiastic about the programme and thought it would be invaluable for others who want to gain the knowledge and skills required to represent themselves and others with their condition. The meeting was productive, constructive, and provided a useful opportunity to suggest improvements for rolling the programme out in our own countries.”
