Getting the word out: how to talk to the public about your research

Communicating to non-specialist audiences about research has many benefits for both scientists and clinicians, as well as patients and the public. By using techniques and tools to make communication more accessible, it is possible to convey complex topics in a clear, engaging and sensitive manner.

As one of the missions of ELF is to make science and research more accessible, we have written an article for professionals to try and help them understand how to write in a more simple style to allow more people to read and understand about their research.
