Take home message from the clinical care and data collection part of the survey:

  • FAP registries unique, powerful, but needs to improve patient centeredness (PROs)
  • Need for harmonisation => development of a SHARP Protocol

Next actions and goals:

  • Write an article “Assessment of the current European care for Severe Asthma. A SHARP perspective
  • Build and elicit a strategic plan to work together for the next 5 to 10 years
  • Improve awareness and have concrete plans to be understandable by others (other consortium, pharma, clinicians, patients outside of SHARP)
  • Harmonization of SA care throughout Europe: guaranteeing equal access and chances should be our motor.
