Patients' group

People with severe asthma from different countries who actively take part in all projects, being the “patient’s voice”, providing opinions and impressions based on personal experience to guide research.

Clinicians' group

Clinicians' group

Early career to confirmed expert respiratory clinicians specialised in asthma from 28 European member countries who lead or participate in research projects and guide early career clinicians.

Scientist' group

Scientist' group

Composed of Research Scientists (basic, translational, data), psychologists, epidemiologists, bioinformaticians and statisticians from 28 European countries who lead or actively participate in research projects.

Pharma Partners' group

Pharma Partners' group

SHARP is a Clinical Research Collaboration (CRC) endorsed by the European Respiratory Society (ERS) and financially supported by ERS and by five pharmaceutical companies: GlaxoSmithKline, Sanofi, Chiesi, Teva and Novartis . The Pharma Partners also actively participate, or lead research projects discussed and agreed by all stakeholders.
