The HANSE-SOLACE project, which successfully launched in Hannover, Grosshansdorf and Lübeck (Germany), in January 2024. Over 400 high risk participants underwent a low-dose CT examination using a CT-truck within the HANSE network so far. In addition, the participants received smoking cessation counselling and information about their cardiac and lung health. The aim of HANSE-Solace is to attract more women and the hard-to-reach population to participate in a structured lung cancer screening program.
