New SOLACE publication outlines aims of the project

The SOLACE consortium has published a statement in the journal Insights into Imaging, outlining the aims of the project.

The statement showcases SOLACE, which is the first pan-European network of experts that can drive Europe forward to delivering effective lung cancer screening programmes at the national level. It also explains how SOLACE is planning to reach underrepresented populations with tailored recruitment strategies for these groups. This will include women, people living in remote regions, people living in socially deprived areas and ethnic minorities.

The authors of the statement demonstrate how the project is poised to transform lung cancer screening with evidence-based guidelines, pilot programmes and wide dissemination or results. The project will set the stage for implementation of lung cancer screening across EU member states.
