The European Institute for Biomedical Imaging Research (EIBIR) will host a session at the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) with insights from the SOLACE project.
The session will cover key advancements in lung cancer screening, including:
- Achievements of the SOLACE project, highlighting progress in European lung cancer screening and pilot trials
- Digital workflow innovations and lessons from the HANSE trial
- Updates on pulmonary nodule management from the ESTI position paper
- The daily routine of radiologists in lung cancer screening programmes, including reporting and quality assurance
- The impact of lung cancer screening on radiology workload, based on findings from a SOLACE survey
- Training programmes and the role of the European Lung Cancer Screening Alliance
The session will conclude with a panel discussion on the role of artificial intelligence in lung cancer screening, examining current applications and future potential.
