The European Commission has launched a new call for experts to join a Working Group that will support its latest effort to improve lung cancer care.
The European Commission Initiative on Lung Cancer (EC-LuC) is being set up by the Joint Research Centre (JRC), together with the Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE). The aim is to create evidence-based guidelines for lung cancer prevention, screening and diagnosis, and to develop a quality assurance system for the full care pathway.

This is an opportunity to contribute to fairer, more effective lung cancer screening programmes across the EU. Members of the group will not represent any organisation or country, but will work independently and in the public interest.
