Local organisations working to improve public health and tackle air pollution can now apply for Clean Air Action grants to support community activities taking place through the end of 2027.
The grants are designed to help organisations raise awareness of the health impacts of air pollution, engage local communities and support the delivery of Healthy Lungs for Life campaigns and events across Europe.
The Clean Air Action grants programme is open to organisations in the following countries, with activities focused in key cities:
Funding is available for a wide range of organisations, including patient organisations, professional associations, hospitals, NGOs and community groups.
Successful applicants will help increase public understanding of the health effects of air pollution by delivering community outreach, supporting Healthy Lungs for Life events, promoting trusted health information and encouraging patients, healthcare professionals and members of the public to share their perspectives.
Priority will be given to organisations that work with communities most affected by air pollution and those that actively involve patients in their activities.
The programme aims to increase public engagement, strengthen media visibility, encourage engagement with decision-makers and build support for cleaner air policies across Europe.
Organisations interested in applying are invited to express their interest by emailing Katherine.wylie@europeanlung.org, outlining the activities they would be able to deliver in support of the Healthy Lungs for Life campaign.
