DRAGON (The RapiD and SecuRe AI enhAnced DiaGnosis, Precision Medicine and Patient EmpOwerment Centered Decision Support System for Coronavirus PaNdemics) is an Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI)-funded EU project and is using artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to deliver a decision support system for precise coronavirus diagnosis using CT scanning.
The DRAGON project is coordinated by the University of Maastricht with Radiomics as the Project Lead, and partners which are comprised of high-tech small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), academic research institutes, biotechnology and pharmacological partners, and ELF and ERS.
ELF and ERS, through Lungs Europe, led WP10 dissemination and communication activities, in close collaboration with the whole consortium. A number of tools, events and policies will be developed for this purpose, while a range of channels will be used to reach the relevant target audience for each activity. This WP will be instrumental to ensure that DRAGON’s results and tools are used in clinical practice and beyond, also helping to prepare for future pandemics.
