Drop-in session: communications support for patient representatives attending the ERS Congress

Are you attending the ERS Congress in Amsterdam this year or following the event remotely? Join us for a relaxed and informal drop-in session hosted by the ELF communications team to discuss how to communicate at and about the ERS Congress effectively.

Together we will explore how to use events like the ERS Congress to highlight key messages from your organisation, raise awareness of lung health and patient priorities and support each other in amplifying these messages through social media and other communication channels.

During this session, we will:

• share ideas for content creation at Congress, including activities around Patient Organisation Networking Day and the community space in the World Village, such as quick videos, vox pops and social media posts.
• discuss how to make the most of your time at Congress from a communications point of view and how to share your experiences and findings with your networks.
• explore ways we can collaborate and stay connected.
• offer tips and support for organisations with limited communications resources.
• talk about how to effectively share news and new research you hear about at Congress with your audiences

Everyone attending Congress—whether in person or online—is warmly invited to join us.

This session is a chance to connect and exchange ideas, whether you have taken part in similar events before and have insights to share, you are looking for inspiration on how to communicate about Congress through social media or other channels, or your organisation is attending and you are still figuring out the best approach to communications. No matter your background or experience, your voice will be valued and appreciated.
