EPAP Live webinar
Our online European Patient Ambassador Programme (EPAP) has gone from strength to strength since it was launched. We are very proud of the number of individuals who have completed the course and then been inspired to bring people together to improve lung health, increase awareness on specific issues, and lobby leaders to make important changes.
We want to add even more value to EPAP by running a series of live webinars to highlight topics that we think will complement the skills people already have.
This second webinar of the series had a focus on advocacy.
The event gathered over 30 patient organisation representatives active in advocacy and individual patients looking to learn more about impacting the political agenda and public opinion on health topics.
It provided an overview of how to run a successful advocacy campaign, along with practical tips and examples of impactful advocacy. Watch the recording to enhance your skills in influencing policy and stay tuned for future EPAP Live Sessions via our Event page.
The programme of this Advocacy Session was built around real-life strong cases of individual and organisational advocacy campaigns both at national and EU level as well as practical tips and tricks for planning and running a successful campaign.
