The aim of this survey was the gather information to improve access to pulmonary rehabilitation services. The team developed a policy statement on how pulmonary rehabilitation should be delivered worldwide.
A small group of patients were asked to contribute to the development of the survey. People affected by the relevant condition were invited to share their experiences via an online survey.
Over 1600 people in 29 countries were included in the final report. The survey findings were published in the European Respiratory Journal in 2015.
