Vagn joined our Lung Cancer Patient Advisory Group in 2016 and represented the Danish Lung Cancer Association. We very much valued his input and the perspectives he brought to the group and our activities.
Vagn was passionate about using his experience to benefit others and his thoughtful contributions by email and at meetings and workshops he attended were always insightful.
He provided input to the ERS statement on harmonised standards for lung cancer registration and lung cancer services in Europe, which was published in 2018.
Vagn died in March 2020 due to COVID-19.
