We are pleased to invite applications to join the ELF Patient Advisory Committee.
About the committee
The Patient Advisory Committee (PAC) plays an important role in all ELF strategic activities. Current members of the committee represent a wide range of lung disease patient organisations from across Europe. The PAC is a sub-committee of the ELF Council, the main body of ELF. For full details of the aims and responsibilities of the committee, please read the Terms of Reference.
Join the committee
The PAC currently has several vacancies and ELF would like to recruit new members who are interested in actively working with us and other organisations at the European level, to raise awareness about lung health and to support patients and the public to contribute to the future of respiratory healthcare.
New members should meet the following criteria:
What is involved?
Members of the PAC are appointed for a three-year period and invited to renew their membership every three years. The committee meets three times per year – normally two virtual meetings and one face to face meeting at the ERS Congress. Travel, accommodation and video conferencing costs for participation are covered by ELF.
How to apply
If your organisation is interested in joining the PAC, please complete the application form.
Please send your application to courtney.coleman@europeanlung.org by Monday 7 December 2020.
Appointment
Current members of the PAC will review and vote on the applications. New members will be selected to ensure a good balance of disease areas, European countries and expertise.
