Challenge yourself and fundraise for ELF in 2022

As it is the new year, we know that many of you will be thinking about health and making resolutions to get fit. Why not do so whilst raising money for the European Lung Foundation?

Take on a challenge in 2022 and ask your friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you to complete it.

Below we have offered some examples of organised events you can register for, which vary in levels of difficulty so you can find the one that best suits you. There is even a virtual challenge you can do across the year at your own pace. You can also sign up to an event local to you and support ELF or other lung organisations – just let us know so we can help you.

These events are planned to go ahead only if it is deemed safe and if COVID-19 is a low risk.

If you are interested in taking part in one of these or have found one yourself that you would like to join, please contact our fundraiser who will help you to register and get fundraising. Contact Katherine by emailing Katherine.wylie@europeanlung.org

Other fundraising activities

If you do not want to do a sporting challenge but are still interested in raising money for ELF through a sponsored activity then you could ask people to sponsor you to give something up for a month, like TV or chocolate. Alternatively, you could hold a one-off cake and coffee morning asking friends, colleagues or neighbours to stop by and make a donation – this could also be hosted in a garden to be extra cautious during the pandemic.
