“Support Us” – the start of our fundraising journey

As part of the most recent ELF strategy, we have committed to begin fundraising activities to allow ELF to continue to increase the services we can provide in the future.

This is the first in a series of articles about the many different ways you can support ELF

This first piece outlines a few simple ways you can support:

  • Spread the word: One of the easiest ways to support ELF is to talk about us. Please tell your friends, family and colleagues about the work that ELF does and share our posts on social media.
  • AmazonSmile: You are now able to sign up to AmazonSmile for any purchases you make on Amazon, and of course encourage your friends and family. AmazonSmile donates 0.5% of the price of eligible purchases to your favourite charitable organisation, at no cost to you. You can select ELF as your favourite charity and then shop through AmazonSmile for purchases. https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/chpf/homepage?orig=%2F You can also do it in the Amazon app.
  • eBay: If you use eBay, you can support ELF with anything you sell. You can choose ELF to receive anything from 10-100% of your sale price. This also acts as a great incentive to encourage more buyers to view your item.
  • Facebook Donate: We have joined Facebook Donate, so you can create your own fundraising page for ELF. Why not carry out a Birthday Fundraiser? Just visit https://www.facebook.com/help/1910205189301966 to find out how.
  • Fundraising for us: On the Support Us section of the website, you can find our new fundraising guide which we hope will give you ideas and inspiration to carry out your own fundraising activities.

No matter how large or small, your contribution will always be appreciated. With your support, ELF can reduce healthcare inequalities, improve education about lung health, and increase patient involvement in research and policy making.

We are always looking for new fundraising ideas and ways to improve. If you have any suggestions or questions regarding fundraising, please contact info@europeanlung.org
