Home » Webinar: Patient involvement in developing Clinical Practice Guidelines
Courtney Coleman from the ELF patient input team recently shared ELF’s experience of involving patients in developing clinical practice guidelines, in a collaborative webinar with ELF, EURORDIS – Rare Diseases Europe, European Association of Urology and University of Aberdeen.
Guidelines play an important role in ensuring the approaches used to diagnose, manage and treat specific conditions are informed by best practice.
Drawing on ELF’s 10 years of experience of involving patients in guideline development, Courtney showcased the different ways patients can add value to guidelines and help to improve treatment and care.
