Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Patient Conference 2026

On Wednesday 18 November from 13:00–17:00 CET join us for the Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Patient Conference 2026. Organised by the European Lung Foundation (ELF) in collaboration with the AMR-Lung Clinical Research Collaboration, this free online patient conference has been developed with input from patients and clinical experts.

The event is primarily aimed at people living with long-term lung conditions who are most at risk of AMR, as well as their carers and families. It will also be of interest to patient organisations, respiratory clinicians, physiotherapists and primary care professionals.

Programme 

The programme will explore AMR from global, clinical and lived experience perspectives, including: 

  • What AMR is and why it matters in long-term lung disease  
  • Practical guidance on reducing risk 
  • Patient experiences from different countries 
  • Latest research insights from the AMR-Lung 

 

Sessions will include interactive polls and a live Q&A with speakers.
