This year, the campaign evolves to reflect the 2026 ERS Congress theme, “United for better breathing: partnership between patients, clinicians and researchers.” The ask for submissions will focus more strongly on partnership in action and showing how patients and professionals work together to improve care, advance research and strengthen understanding of lung health.

About the campaign

Global Voices brings together short reflections from across the respiratory community. We are inviting contributions that capture experiences of partnership in lung health from both lived experience and professional perspectives.

We welcome contributions from:

  • Patients and people living with lung conditions
  • Caregivers and family members
  • Clinicians and healthcare professionals
  • Researchers
  • Anyone else involved in patient–professional partnership in respiratory health

Your photo or video contribution can help us show what partnership in lung health looks like.

What we are asking for

We are collecting short reflections (1–2 sentences) responding to prompts such as:

  • What does patient–professional partnership in lung health mean to you?
  • How has collaboration improved care, research or understanding of lung disease?
  • What change would you like to see when patients, clinicians and researchers work together?

You should also upload an image or video in your submission.
