Managing the lung fibrosis aspect of connective tissue diseases and rheumatoid arthritis
The European Alliance of Associations for Rheumatology (EULAR) and the European Respiratory Society (ERS) have worked together to develop new joint recommendations on managing lung fibrosis, also known as interstitial lung disease (ILD), in people living with connective tissue diseases and rheumatoid arthritis.
Researchers, patients, and healthcare professionals worked together to develop this new advice – with input from experts in rheumatology, pulmonology, radiology and pathology. The guideline covers screening, diagnosis, monitoring and treatment.

In the video, Ilaria shares her experience with interstitial lung disease, receiving a double lung transplant, and the importance of patients and professionals working together to make real change in care.
