The ELF Transplantation Working Group, in collaboration with the European Reference Network for rare respiratory diseases (ERN-Lung)’s Transplantation Working Group, has launched a new survey as part of the Chair’s Campaign, which aims to raise awareness, improve education and advocate for equal access to lung transplantation for people with severe lung conditions across Europe.

We want to hear from:

  • People who have received a lung transplant
  • People who have been referred, evaluated, or are currently on the waiting list
  • Family members and carers supporting someone through their transplant journey

By sharing your experience, you will help us build a clearer picture of lung transplantation across Europe, identify gaps and inequalities and strengthen future advocacy and service improvement.

If you would like to share your experiences, please complete the survey below, which will be available in a range of languages soon.

This survey is anonymous and you can leave the survey at any time. It should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete.

The survey will be open until 24 April 2026.
