This EPAP Live webinar took place from 12:00-13:00 CET on the 9 December 2024 and focussed on EU advocacy. The session aimed to help health organisations and those interested in advocacy to identify areas within health policy that can be improved on an EU or national level, and how organisations can advocate for this.

Our experts answered key questions, including:

  • Where is the line between national and EU action in health policy? And in which areas do the EU act to have more of an impact than actions taken at the national or local levels.
  • How can you bring your health priorities to the attention of policymakers?
  • How do you run an advocacy campaign at the EU and national level?

The session also included an interactive discussion with the opportunity to ask questions to advocacy experts.

This informative and interactive event was part of a series of live webinars related to the European Patient Ambassador Programme (EPAP). EPAP is a free, online, self-learning programme that introduces patients and carers to some of the basic skills and knowledge needed to represent yourself and others successfully.
