At the ERS Congress in 2025, ERS introduced a new programme format: Patient-centred studio sessions. Supported by the European Lung Foundation (ELF), these sessions were designed to place patients’ perspectives at the heart of scientific and clinical discussion.
The content on this page was originally delivered live at the ERS Congress 2025 and is shared here for on-demand viewing. The recordings are published to extend the reach of these discussions beyond the Congress and to support ongoing learning and collaboration across the respiratory community.
New for 2025, the patient-centred studio sessions brought together patients, patient advocates and healthcare professionals for open, meaningful dialogue.

Following the positive reception of these sessions at the 2025 Congress, ERS has confirmed that patient-centred studio sessions will return in 2026.
Each of the recordings below reflects the interactive nature of the sessions and highlights the value of patient–professional partnership in advancing respiratory care.
In addition to the studio sessions, this page also includes a recording from a Wednesday workshop.
Wednesday workshops are designed as more in-depth, exploratory sessions. The workshop featured here focused on patient involvement, bringing together experts and patient representatives to examine key issues affecting respiratory health.
