The ELF Transplantation Working Group, in collaboration with the European Reference Network for rare respiratory diseases (ERN-Lung)’s Transplantation Working Group, launched a new survey as part of the Chair’s Campaign, which aimed to raise awareness, improve education and advocate for equal access to lung transplantation for people with severe lung conditions across Europe.

The survey invited contributions from:

  • People who have received a lung transplant
  • People who have been referred, evaluated, or are currently on the waiting list
  • Family members and carers supporting someone through their transplant journey

The survey aimed to help us build a clearer picture of lung transplantation across Europe, identify gaps and inequalities and strengthen future advocacy and service improvement.

The survey is now closed.

Survey for transplant centres

A survey was also available for transplant centres to complete to help build a clearer picture of current practice, identify gaps and inequalities and support future advocacy, education and service improvement.

The survey is now closed.
