ELF is working with a group of experts across Europe, known as IMPORTANCE, to help improve care for people who use breathing support devices at home. This includes devices such as CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) and Home Mechanical Ventilation (HMV).
The survey will be open until 31 October 2025.
Take the surveyTo make sure their work focuses on what matters most to patients, the IMPORTANCE team wants to hear from people who currently use, or have previously used, a breathing support device at home. This includes CPAP for sleep apnoea and bilevel ventilation (e.g. BiPAP) for conditions such as COPD and neuromuscular disorders.
By sharing your experiences and opinions, you can help make sure that future research and care are centred on patients’ needs.
If you would like to share your views and help shape this important work, please fill out this survey, which is available in Chinese (Mandarin), Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Latvian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (European Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese), Russian, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish and Turkish.
