Peter wanted to use his experience of living with severe asthma to improve research and find new treatments. He joined the Respiratory Patient Working Group for the 3TR project, a large European collaboration researching a range of auto-immune diseases. Peter brought insight from his own lived experience to the project and always contributed enthusiastically to discussions. He was passionate about improving severe asthma care, pushing for everyone to have access to the latest advances in treatment and highlighting the need to find new therapeutics for those who do not respond to current treatments. His warmth and enthusiasm are greatly missed by everyone in the 3TR Respiratory Patient Working Group, at the European Lung Foundation and the European Federation of Allergy & Airways Diseases Patient Organisations.
