Bronchiectasis Patient Conference 2022: save the date!

On Sunday 27 March ELF will hold its second virtual patient conference about bronchiectasis. It will focus on treatment and self-management. The programme has been developed with members of the ELF Bronchiectasis Patient Advisory Group and clinicians in EMBARC (the European Bronchiectasis Registry).

Presentations from patients and clinician experts in the field of bronchiectasis are planned on the following:

  • Overview of bronchiectasis and main treatments
  • Airway clearance techniques
  • Nutrition and diet
  • Psychological aspects
  • Pseudomonas
  • Role of viral infections
  • New research and treatments

Participants will also have opportunities to have their questions answered by experts on the day.

The virtual conference will run from 10:00-16:00 CEST/9:00-15:00 BST and is aimed at patients and caregivers of people with bronchiectasis. Anyone interested in bronchiectasis is also welcome to join.
