Home » Camping inside the hospital to raise awareness on air pollution, India
From 25 to 30 September 2024, members and staff of the VPS Lakeshore Hospital and Research Centre in Kochi, India, were camping inside the hospital to raise awareness on the importance of clean air.
Kochi is a port city and faces significant challenges related to air pollution. The sources of the air pollution in Kochi are varied and multifaceted and therefore addressing the issues of air pollution also requires a multifaced approach. It is essential to have public awareness campaigns to educate the people on the sources and effects of air pollution, to motivate them to adopt cleaner practices.
