Healthy Lungs for Life: read, watch, listen

To celebrate the arrival of the ERS International Congress this September, the Biblioteca Agustí Centelles (Agustí Centelles Library) in Barcelona, Spain, will be hosting a collection of books about lung health. This is part of the public outreach programme of the European Respiratory Society (ERS) and ELF Healthy Lungs for Life campaign.

The collection will include physical books (mainly in local language) in the library for the people of Barcelona and the local area. The list of the books, as well as a list of films and songs, will be available to view online for all. The online collection will include material in multiple languages with links to access the materials.

In order to develop this collection, we would like to call upon ERS members, healthcare professionals, Congress delegates, patients and patient organisations to nominate any book, song or film that you think has a connection to lung health, lung disease or breathing. It could be something you have read, listened to or watched that you think helps explain the importance of lung health and breathing to all.

All submissions will be reviewed and collated into a collection that we will share with you in September.
