On 25 September 2024, Health Support Initiatives gathered at Lugasa Health Centre III, Uganda, to raise awareness of lung health and respiratory care. The initiative aims to ensure that every child has the opportunity to grow up with healthy lungs. In light of World Lung Day, they organised activities for mothers to learn how to keep their children’s lungs healthy. Additionally, they ran a vaccination campaign, providing children with the pneumonia vaccine.
