Registration open for the first-ever ELF Severe Asthma Patient Conference

On 21 January 2023, ELF will hold its first-ever online patient conference on severe asthma. Registration is now open for this free event.

Join us on Saturday 21 January 2023 for the first severe asthma virtual patient conference. The conference will address the questions which are important to people living with severe asthma, share the latest advances in treatment and areas of new research.

Presentations from patients and clinician experts in the field of severe asthma will address the following topics:

  • Overview of severe asthma and patient experiences
  • Current treatments
  • Choosing the right treatment
  • Severe asthma and pregnancy
  • Non-pharmacological treatments
  • Living with severe asthma
  • Getting the most out of severe asthma care
  • New research and treatments

Attendees will have opportunities to have their questions answered by experts on the day.

The virtual conference will run from 10:30-16:30 Central European Time (CET) on Saturday 21 January 2023. It is aimed at people living with severe asthma and caregivers, although anyone interested in severe asthma is welcome to join.

The conference is free to attend and is open to participants from across the globe.

Confirmed speakers so far include: Ms Olivia Fulton, Professor Ratko Djukanovic, Mr Kjeld Hansen Dr Ramesh Kurukulaaratchy, Professor Vanessa McDonald, Ms Dominique Hamerlijnck, Dr Anneke Ten Brinke, Ms Karen Vande Casteele, Dr Rolf Wolters, Professor Sven-Erik Dahlén and Professor Celeste Porsbjerg.

The programme has been developed with members of the ELF Severe Asthma Patient Advisory Group and clinicians in SHARP, an international severe asthma research collaboration.
