This video features the voices of people living with chronic respiratory diseases (CRDs), such as COPD and asthma, from around the world. Through their personal stories, patients share how CRDs affect daily life, the challenges they face in accessing care and what is needed to improve lung health.
The video was produced for the high-level UN General Assembly 2025 side event, “Lung health matters – accelerating progress towards UN NCD targets”, which calls on Member States to enhance prevention, early diagnosis, treatment and policy action for CRDs, including integration into primary care and environmental health strategies. By sharing these testimonies, the video highlights the human impact of CRDs and supports advocacy for urgent global action on lung health.
