Global Voices 2025

Patient experiences matter. Share yours with the world.

Every journey with a lung condition is unique. Global Voices 2025 is an international campaign to showcase the real experiences of people living with lung conditions and those who support them. Whether you are a patient or caregiver your voice can help drive understanding, compassion and change.

Submissions were open to anyone affected by breathing-related challenges such as air pollution, access to clean air, workplace exposures or healthcare inequalities — even if you do not have a diagnosed lung condition.

By sharing honest, visual moments from your experience you are helping healthcare professionals, researchers and policymakers see the human side of respiratory health. Together, our photos and stories can breathe life into change.

Last January, despite my idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), I was able to take part in a Nordic walking race with my oxygen concentrator on my back, supported by my friends from the association. In addition to physical health, Adapted Physical Activity (APA) has significant and beneficial effects on mental health: Reducing stress and anxiety, increased self-esteem, feeling of control and increased social interaction. #EnjoyLife
