Healthy Lungs for Life for Schools: Vienna 2024

Early life behaviours influence our lung health in later life. Therefore, we visited schools in Vienna, to get children and young people excited about their lung health.

About the event

Arriving in a real school bus, the Healthy Lungs for Life team visited schools to raise the awareness amongst children and young people about their lung health and why this is so important. We wanted to educate children and young people about the importance of lung health and help them learn new behaviours to improve their lung health throughout life.

During this event we worked together with the Educational Board of Vienna, and local schools to deliver respiratory tests to children and young people, combined with other interactive educational activities to raise their awareness.
