Digital Bridges: JARED International Scientific Conference on Remote Healthcare and Self-Management

The Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU) invites researchers, healthcare professionals and other interested participants to the international scientific conference “Digital Bridges: Remote Healthcare and Self-Management for Chronic Conditions”, organised within the framework of the JARED project. The conference will take place on 16 October 2026 in Kaunas, Lithuania, with both in-person and online participation available. Participation is free of charge.

The event will bring together researchers and healthcare professionals to share research findings and exchange knowledge on remote healthcare services, chronic disease self-management and digital health literacy, while exploring future directions for collaboration. The programme will cover topics including remote self-management for asthma and COPD, early diagnosis, health literacy, artificial intelligence, digital biomarkers and innovative digital health solutions. A dedicated poster session will conclude the scientific programme.

Call for abstracts

Abstracts are welcome on digital health and remote care technologies, chronic disease management and patient self-management, health literacy and patient empowerment, and innovation and research in healthcare. The abstract submission deadline has been extended to 30 September 2026. Abstracts and posters are accepted in English only, and accepted abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings.
